An editor based in Seattle

I’m Gabbi (FKA Gabe). Problem solver and visual poet. I’m a video editor and post-production witch. I’ve cut award-winning documentaries, quirky art-house music videos, and sophisticated corporate campaigns for high-value clients. Technical witchcraft is part of my job description, but my real magic is my devotion to elevated storytelling and personal connection.

Editing is more than just flashy effects and organized folders. It’s about bringing the story to life. How do we honor the director’s or the client’s vision at every step of the process? How do we find out what the film “wants” to be?

I’ve worked for notable clients including Microsoft, The Nature Conservancy, Flexe, JoySauce, SEIU 1199NW, and Democratic Congressional Candidates. Some of my notable non-corporate work includes the feature-length documentary Ultimate Citizens (2023), the feature-length psychological thriller She the Creator (2022), and the 6 part docuseries Team Tan (2022).

My human-centered approach to editing puts the story, the client, and the impact first. I aim to center the story with every cut I make, and I’m excited to center your story next!

When I’m not moving clips around a timeline, you can find me haunting the Capital Hill bars or binge watching Sex and the City on my couch.
